General Questions

What are the opening hours?

The office is open 8am to 5pm, Sunday to Saturday (excluding Christmas and New Years Days)

Where are you located?

We are located at 200 Florida Ave. Tavernier FL., 33070 Mile Marker 91.7 on the Bayside just behind Froggies Gym. If you are traveling by water to our resort, we are between marker 62 – 65 on the ICW (25’ 00.681 N) (080’ 31.110 W)

What are some of the other amenities you have?

We are a full-service marina with a full bathhouse, tiki huts, BBQ grills, boat ramp, restaurant, and a pool with heater and chiller.

What are the insurance requirements?

We require $1 million-dollar liability insurance naming Summit Tavernier LLC DBA Mangrove Marina and all affiliates as additionally insured.

What is the cost to use the ramp?

The ramp fee is $50 one way.

What is the cost for trailer parking/storage?

We charge $20 per day for storage with a variety of rates for longer stays.

Do you have someone who can work on my boat?

We provide a variety of boat service and have an extensive list of outside contractors that are available for services we don’t provide inhouse.

Are there restaurants and shopping nearby?

Restaurants and shopping are available within walking distance (1/2 mile) There is a bar on property which offers drinks and light fare.

Dry Rack & Wet Slip

Is covered storage available?

Mangrove Marina currently only has open-air rack storage.

What are my storage options?

Mangrove Marina provides annual, monthly, and short-term rates for boats between dinghy’s and 50 feet. We have racks and ground stands available for short or long term use and provide launch service seven days a week with our 26,000 lbs fork lift or our 120,000 lbs travel lift.

What is the minimum stay?

There is no minimum stay requirements.

What draft can be accommodated at Mangrove Marina?

We can accommodate boats with drafts up to 5 feet.

Can I get my boat pumped out?

We offer pump outs at slip or for transients at the gas dock.

What can we put on the docks?

Dock policy does not allow for dock boxes, bicycles or Barbeques on the docks, we have designated areas on property for these items.

What type of dockage do you provide?

We are available for transient and full-time liveaboard dockage.

Do you have cable and WIFI?

We offer complimentary WIFI and all slips are cable ready.

What kind of docks do you have?

All docks are fixed cement docks with pilings and finger piers.

Are there any other special requirements for boats being stored?

All boats must be able to operate under their own power with working engines and liability insurance is required.

Houseboats

Can I take the houseboat out for a sail?

Our houseboats do not leave their slips at the marina.

What if I want to come in to the marina by water or bring a boat and/or trailer?

Please contact us at 305-852-8380 prior to your trip so that we can make the proper arrangements for your boat and/or trailer.

What is your cancelation policy?

If a traveler cancels 30 days prior to reservation 100% refund or option to reschedule for later dates. If a traveler cancels less than 30 days prior to reservation, there is no refund.

Do you provide hair dryers and irons with ironing boards?

We do not provide hairdryers or irons with ironing boards because the use of these items on our houseboats will overload the breakers.  You are more than welcome to bring these items with you and use them in the bath house which is on property.

Are we allowed to swim off the back deck of the house boat?

Unfortunately, you are unable to swim in the marina, however we do have a pool which is accessible from sunrise to sunset.
