Whether you’re a first-time boater or an experienced seafarer, you’ll need to occasionally dock and come ashore. Unlike cars and similar vehicles, boats can’t simply be “parked” anywhere: You need a dedicated mooring spot to keep your boat safe and functional. We offer both wet slips and dry docking here at Mangrove Marina. Dry docking can be a good choice for long-term storage, but slips make it easy to keep your boat ready for your next adventure when you are.
Understanding Boat Slips
At our full-service marina, we offer wet slips so that you will always have a safe, secure way to store your boat while still maintaining direct access to the water. You can be confident that your boat will remain secure via dock lines but protected from waves, tides, and similar potential hazards.
Wet slips use pilings and mooring points to keep your boat secure and stationary when docked, dock fingers for additional berthing space, and piers for easy access. We have more than 100 wet slips for both transient and liveaboard boaters, and an incredible 90% of them are open on a first-come, first-served basis. They’re spacious enough to handle boats up to 70 feet long with beams up to 24 feet long and drafts of up to 5 feet.

We’re located in a natural hurricane hole protected by hearty mangroves. You can even stay in slips during storms, but we offer dry storage for those who prefer it.
